    Helen Bridgland will demonstrate oil painting techniques as part of the Hans Heysen exhibition at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. Helen's demonstration is included in the guided tour of the Heysen exhibition. This is a series of demonstrations during the Heysen exhibition aimed at illustrating the techniques of one of Australia's most influential landscape artists. Other demonstrations will include drawing and water colour techniques.

    Hobart's Plein Air Painting Group (established in the early 1960's) will be demonstrating techniques as part of the Hans Heysen exhibition at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. The group includes legendary Tasmanian artist Max Angus. Plein Air means painting direct from nature in the open air (en plein air). This is a series of demonstrations during the Heysen exhibition aimed at illustrating the techniques of one of Australia's most influential landscape artists.
