Ice Box - Antarctic educational loan resource
Full of objects that have been carefully chosen to reflect the three broad themes of the natural Antarctic environment, history of exploration (and connections with Australia) and people in Antarctica today.
Explore learning through hands–on objects including Emperor penguin chicks, whales’ teeth and baleen, geological samples, and scientific and expeditionary equipment.
The only fee involved with the service is that required for freight.

Loan specimens
The Centre for Learning and Discovery operates an inexpensive loan service of animal, plant and rock specimens for schools. These are great objects for sketching and research.
Please note that there is a charge for the loan specimens.
Australian War Memorial Boxes
TMAG Centre for Learning and Discovery also administers the Memorial Boxes from the Australian War Memorial. The only fee involved with the service is that required for freight.
