Hold your next event at the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) a unique venue with the 'wow' factor for your special occasion. Our distinctive spaces offer a range of indoor and outdoor settings for corporate and private functions, cocktail parties, spectacular launches, presentations and more. 

TMAG is ideally situated on the Hobart waterfront, in close proximity to a number of Hobart's central hotels and attractions, making it the ideal location for off-site conference events. Parking is available outside the main entrance in the Dunn Place car park. The nearby Market Place Car Park provides a 24-hour service and there is plenty of off-street parking around the site.

Private tours of the TMAG collections, temporary exhibitions and historic buildings can be arranged to add to the true museum experience of your function. For a truly memorable event, TMAG may be hired in entirety, enabling your guests to explore and discover the sprawling site after-hours with our experienced guides. 

TMAG offers flexible catering opportunities through our Courtyard Café and a range of local providers, who will work with you to create a food and beverage package to suit your needs.
