Want to make your own volcano? Want to explore their dynamic geology? Want to bubble up your own experiments? Head to TMAG this Sunday (27 March) for our Family Day in the Lab.

Volcano Lover is an installation by contemporary Tasmanian artist Lucy Bleach which explores the drama of volcanoes in a virtual eruption of colour, light and sound.

This Sunday we're throwing open the Volcano Lab, where you can learn about volcanoes and conduct hands on experiments to explore the science that creates them.

11:00am - 11.30am Making mini-volcanoes

12:00pm - 12:30pm Volcanic rocks

1:00pm - 1:30pm I'm all shook up!

2:00pm - 2:30pm D.I.Y. lava lamps

Come along and have some fun at TMAG this Sunday.

It's all free, just like the rest of the Museum, and why not bring a camera to record some of the fun?
