TMAG Children’s Festival

The TMAG Children’s Festival returns to the museum in 2019 for another week of fun during the April school holidays.
Presented over six days, this year's Festival theme is EARTHTIME! and will feature a range of free special events, displays, programs and activities for children of all ages.
The Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra Ensemble present an original composition for young children. Step out into the world of some very musical dinosaurs and learn about their relationship with birds! An interactive, narrated musical presentation for children six years and under.
This work is part of the TSO’s emerging composer program and will be performed by musicians of the TSO and presenter Madeleine Dyer. Dinosaur Steps features original music by Tasmanian composer Thomas Misson, commissioned by the TSO.
This event is part of the 2019 TMAG Children's Festival.

Four performances only: 10:15 am, 11:15 am, 1:00 pm, and 2:00 pm
Duration: 25 mins
All tickets $5 (inc. fees)
Babes in arms (under 12 months) are free - for capacity purposes please include in your booking if relevant.
