TMAG reopens Tuesday 23 June 2020
New conditions apply due to COVID-19
At the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG), we are committed to ensuring the wellbeing and safety of our visitors and staff as we reopen with the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.
We have created an experience that prioritises your safety and enjoyment by introducing physical distancing and extra hygiene measures, comprehensive regular cleaning, and visitor number limits in galleries and on the site as a whole.
We’re looking forward to welcoming you back and connecting with our visitors in person again.
All visitors are now required to book in advance to assist COVID-19 contact tracing.
The reopening of TMAG includes the Museum Shop. Please bring a credit or debit card for any on-site purchases, as cash will not be accepted. The Courtyard Café, which is operated as a separate licenced venue, has made a business decision not to reopen. TMAG will have alternative short-term arrangements in place for the upcoming school holiday period. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Please consider downloading the Australian Government's COVIDSafe app.
For further ticketing enquiries or if online booking is not possible, please contact us at email@example.com or phone (03) 6165 7000.
