C20 closes this weekend

Copy_of_AG2449C20 - 100 years of Australian art from the TMAG collection - closes this Sunday (26 June). This major exhibition over three galleries brings together works by many of Australia's most significant artists and designers of the 20th century. 

Some of the oldest paintings in the exhibition include works by Rupert Bunny and Charles Condor. There's a wonderful painting by Frederick McCubbin and Albert Tucker's iconic The Gamblers, used to illustrate Donald Horne's The Lucky Country. Sculptor Clement Meadmore is represented with Sling Chair, Calyx lamp, dining chairs and coffee table.

C20 also includes great examples of work by Tasmanian artists including Philip Wolfhagen, Bea Maddock, Jack Carington Smith, Dorothy Stoner and Patrick Hall among others.
