Play a part in the future of the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery

The Redevelopment team charged with making the new Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (TMAG) a reality, is searching for a curator to join the Content team and work on exciting new exhibitions.

The Content team is currently working on Stage 1 of the project, which will deliver new galleries and displays for the Bond Store and Hunter Galleries as well as programs for other spaces.

Using core collection and stories, new and alternative media, film and other exhibition delivery techniques, the challenge is to create and deliver innovative and high impact programs relating to the cultural, creative and natural history of Tasmania.

It’s a rare opportunity to work with project managers, designers, curators, interpretation experts and the like and to be part of the shaping of the new TMAG.
