Donate to the collection

We welcome offers of donations to the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery collections, however, every item must be assessed against our collection policies, conservation needs, and storage availability.

In order for a preliminary assessment to be made, please complete and submit the Donation Application Form, providing as much detail as possible to curatorenquiries@tmag.tas.gov.au

Please do not post or leave original items — TMAG cannot store or take responsibility for unsolicited materials and reserves the right to decline items that do not meet collection criteria.

Please note: TMAG does not provide valuations or appraisals.
