TMAG is Tasmania’s leading natural and cultural heritage organisation which serves as a custodian of our island’s rich heritage.

Explore an extensive collection of art, artefacts and natural history specimens and discover some of the most significant heritage buildings in Australia which are located on the TMAG site, just a short walk from the Nipaluna/Hobart waterfront.

Public Holidays

Open on Monday public holidays, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm (year-round)

Closed on Good Friday, Anzac Day (25 April) and Christmas Day.
