Make Your Mark: Home

Bond Store Basement

This exhibition presents young peoples’ perspectives on issues that matter to them, through the medium of 3D sculptural media.

The works featured have been created by young people from the Hobart, Glenorchy, Waratah-Wynyard and Circular Head municipalities.

The theme of this year’s Make Your Mark project is ‘home’, and the young artists worked with lead artists Cynthia Finlay, Sara Wright, Catherine Phillips and Andy Vagg on their projects.

Make Your Mark is an annual program run in numerous local government regions, each time with young adults. It uses art to explore important issues in society.

Make Your Mark: Home is an AccessArt initiative of the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery delivered in partnership with local government. This activity is supported by Detached Cultural Organisation.
