Explore the activities below:

Create a colourful cardboard sculpture

Get inspired by the sculptures and artworks in the Becoming Modern exhibition and create your own ‘modernist masterpiece’. Decorate and make your own cardboard ‘slot sculpture’, put it on temporary display in Central Gallery then snap a selfie with your creation!

Date: Tuesday 8 October to Thursday 18 October  (TMAG closed Mondays)

Time: 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Location: Central Gallery, TMAG

Free, drop-in activity suitable for all ages.

(some adult assistance may be required for under 5’s).

Arty Smarty

Enjoy family-friendly short films inspired by modern art or join one of TMAG’s Learning team for a special art-themed story time.

Date: Tuesday 8 October to Thursday 18 October  (TMAG closed Mondays)

Story Time with one of TMAG’s Learning team: 11:00am, Duration: 10 mins

Film times: 10am to 10:50 and 11: 15 to 2:00pm

Location:  Centre for Learning and Discovery

Free, drop-in activity suitable for all ages.

Mini Moderns

What colours and shapes catch your eye in Becoming Modern? Get inspired by the artworks, then head to the interactive felt wall and create your own mini modern masterpiece!
