For NAIDOC Week 2026, TMAG is presenting a special screening of episodes of ‘Little J & Big Cuz’ in palawa kani on the big screen in TMAG’s Central Gallery on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July.

Aimed at children aged four years and over, this landmark animated series brings First Nations characters and cultures to life on the screen, exploring community, country, and culture through the relatable experiences of its young stars. The show is produced by Lutruwita/ Tasmania based screen company Blue Rocket and the lead creative is Tony Thorne, an acclaimed animator, illustrator and visual artist. Tony is a Trawlwoolway man from the Briggs/Johnson family, who grew up on the north west coast of Lutruwita.
