Make Your Mark: Respect
Opens 12-11-2015, closes 29-11-2015
Bond Store Basement
This exhibition presents young peoples' perspectives on issues that matter to them, through the medium of electronic art. The theme of this year's Make Your Mark project is 'respect' and the young artists have explored topics as diverse as environmental values, self-identity in the online realm, and domestic violence while using analogue and digital technologies as their creative medium.
Make Your Mark is an art education initiative of TMAG in partnership with local governments, community organisations and selected professional artists.
The program has involved art workshops, gallery excursions (physical and virtual), local displays of the young artist's work, and this exhibition. It took place in the Waratah-Wynyard, Central Coast, West Tamar, Hobart and Huon Valley Council areas.
